The Ultimate Patient Charting Program
Treatment Plan Goals
CHARTMAN treatment Goals are linked to standard,
quantifiable Actions to be taken by the client, by staff, and by others.
When a Goal is selected for a treatment plan, the specific Actions to be
taken to achieve that goal are automatically entered into the plan.
The performance details of these Actions (listed at the bottom of the screen)
can be individualized for each
client. Free text fields linked to the treatment Goals permit further
individualization. The memo fields allow unlimited amounts of free text to individualize the
treatment plan for the needs of a specific client.
The "Obstacles" to achievement of the treatment goals are also selected
from a user-maintained picklist. The use of picklists
makes the treatment planning process more efficient
while permitting easy maintenance of facility standards. Each agency has
full editing control of the items in its picklists, ensuring that treatment
goals truly reflect facility practices.
