The Osgood File (01:54):

The Tide

The sea breathes
Softly
In and out.
Gentle undulations of the waves
caress my fingertips
And my hair
Turns into golden locks,
Salty, like mermaid hair
Starfish in it.
I swim out under the waves
Until the ocean is still
And rest next to a school
Of striped fish
Drifting in and out of a coral
reef.
The tide moves them,
A sand shark swims up
And greets me with a nod of
his head
When I would usually be scared.
I simple smile and look on.
The sun is setting on an old day
Pink, orange, yellow lights from
above.
The stars in my eyes light up
as I see my mermaid approach.
