Innovative Programs for Successful Living

In-Home Supportive Services Program

The In-Home Supportive Services Program provides an opportunity for independent living in Santa Barbara that combines the security of ongoing monitoring and continued support in a fully independent setting.

The In-Home Supportive Services Program provides contact, assistance, and support for persons with mental illness who are living independently. Community interaction is encouraged, along with productive activities such as paid or volunteer work, training, school or day treatment. Assistance may also be provided with self-care, medication compliance, problem solving, and abstinence from substance abuse. Counselors provide crisis assessment, intervention, and resolution when needed.

CLINICAL PERSONNEL

Counselors are well trained, experienced, and have Master's Degrees in counseling psychology or a closely related field. They are selected because of their sensitive, caring approach to clients and are trained to respond effectively to crisis situations. Client and counselor are matched according to client need.
